About

I'm Nolan Feng, a product leader in New York with nearly nine years in product. Since mid-2026 I've advised nonprofits on AI adoption and built the systems myself.

Before that I was Director, Product at Rhodium, an AI-native platform for multi-location medspas serving 3,500 locations. I spec'd and owned its voice AI front desk and two ML models: a churn-propensity model and Smart Waitlist. In parallel, as Chief Product Officer (Consulting) at PrepProof, I owned the risk-scoring logic that separates genuine courier error from fraudulent claims for franchise restaurant operators.

At Dow Jones I was the sole PM for the Barron's mobile app on iOS and Android, and one of four PMs on the WSJ app. I owned the success metrics and A/B testing for the ML personalization that chose articles in the WSJ and Barron's feeds.

I started in product at Microsoft, where I was seconded to Tap Network and owned the rewards system in the Tap mobile app. Alongside Microsoft and Dow Jones I co-founded er studio, a product studio where Fortune 500 in-house teams outsourced 0→1 pilots. There I led the Mercedes me redesign across iOS, Android and web, and led product on Ka-ching, a Gen-Z payments pilot for Mastercard.
